NACA LIVE 2023 SHOWCASING ACTS

We had a great time in Louisville, KY for NACA Live on February 18-21, 2023! Here’s some information on our exciting acts that showcased at this conference this year!

Americana Country duo, Lance and Lea’s first album “There Goes My Heart,” with Grammy award winning producer, Paul Worley, garnered airplay in Nashville, the UK and Ireland. In 2019, they won the “New Artist Of The Year” award at the iHeart Radio Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards. “There Goes My Heart” was also nominated for Album Of The Year at the 2020 iHeart Radio RMCMA’s. In 2020, $16K was raised through a fan funded campaign and completed a 38 state, 80 date, four month long tour.

Their new album was released July 2022 with a 50 date Summer tour.

Brandi Denise Boyd is a social worker turned standup comedian, actor, and writer! Most recently she was selected as one of Just For Laughs New Faces of Comedy. Her new Comedy Central Feature just dropped and is going viral. Brandi had a series regular role on the BET show GAMES PEOPLE PLAY, and can be seen recurring on Starz’ POWER and POWER BOOK II: GHOST. Brandi is an alumnus of Chicago Second City Improv Program and a Conservatory Student, Annoyance theater alumni and the I.O. Writing for a TV Program. Brandi‘s standup comedy is often described as honest, witty and refreshing with huge bursts of energy.

Ben Wagner is an award-winning singer/songwriter from Wisconsin. He was named first place in the Great American Song Contest, “New and Notable” by NoiseTrade, “One to Watch” by Nashville Songwriters Association International, along with local nominations for best singer/songwriter and acoustic musician. Wagner has played a lot of shows: everywhere from bars, living rooms, churches and festival crowds of 3,000+. He performs with no set lists and just his acoustic guitar. He weaves together original music, popular songs, stories, and crowd banter.

Jim Wolf is an American songwriter has broadly toured the U.S. and parts of Asia, and is best known for his 2012 single, “Make You My Lady”, which has achieved great commercial success in South Korea. Wolf’s music is currently on the TOP100 charts in South Korea and has been sitting there for the last 9 years beating out some of the biggest names in music Ed Sheeran, Adele, Beyonce, and one song currently still sits in the Top100 above many Taylor Swift songs.

The Pop-Up Game Show can take place anywhere at anytime! It’s an impromptu, fun and entertaining experience for everyone on campus. Participants compete in fun trivia and wacky challenge style competitions. Our 5 to 10 minute mini-games will draw a crowd as players and onlookers cheer each other on while competing to win our fun prizes and bragging rights. Perfect for any spot on campus! Our professional set-up will make players feel like they’re on the set of a real game show! Whether a stand-alone event in the student union, during lunch on academic row, during spring fest…ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, this Game Show is perfect!
