OPEN MIC NIGHT WITH J8KE

Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist “J8KE” performs live and hosts a virtual open mic for all Lindenwood students and community. Come chill, watch, share a tune, poetry, jokes, freestyle or any hidden talents you may have in this interactive virtual experience within our “new normal”. If you’re camera shy, no worries, just have fun and hang out.

J8KE (Jake Robertson), the Canadian singer-songwriter, started playing music and singing at age 7. J8KE has shared stages with everyone from The Beach Boys, Carly Rae Jepsen, Walk Off The Earth, Brett Young & Sublime With Rome.

His unique, versatile vocals combined with multi-instrumental musicianship including live looping have amassed him a rabid online following on Instagram @J8KEMUSIC and is known on the college circuit for his engaging high-energy live shows.  J8KE’s single “Ricochet” was added to Canadian radio which Billboard featured the story as an Emerging Artist. He’s currently working on his EP, with the band Magic! and producer Brian West. His current Mixt8pe + single are available on all streaming platforms. J8ke was a recent Top-5-Finalist for “Canada’s Got Talent”.
